Professor, Public Health Foundation of India. Dr. Goenka leads the Physical Activity program at the Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC) – a WHO Collaborating Centre for Surveillance Capacity Building, & Translational Research in Cardio-metabolic diseases.

She works in the areas of physical activity, built environment & policies, worksite health promotion for the prevention of Non- communicable diseases and obesity & also bioethics and qualitative research methods. She was commissioner on the Lancet Obesity Commission
