Sakshee Dhawan is enrolled in the Ph.D. programme at Amity University, Noida, India.
Prior to this course, Sakshee has completed her undergraduate in Home Science, in 2014, from Delhi University (Lady Irwin College) with Food & Nutrition as a specialization and completed her Masters in Food & Nutrition from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University in 2016. Her Masters dissertation research work was entitled “Estimation of consumption of dairy products among late adolescence and development of nutrition counseling aid to improve dairy consumption”. She also presented a seminar on “Ochratoxin and its impact on health”.
She is working at Max Healthcare for more than 3 years, as a Diabetes Educator and Nutritionist, counseling in-patients and outpatients at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket.
Sakshee is enthusiastic and willing to work and use her knowledge and skills for the current project as a Ph.D. scholar. Her areas of interest include clinical nutrition, food science, public health, and microbiology.
