Kazi Faria Islam is enrolled in Masters in Public Health at James P Grant School of public health.

Prior to joining this programme, she was working in Saheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital as an intern doctor from January, 2018 to December, 2018. Faria has completed her bachelors in Dental surgery in December, 2017. During her bachelors, she has learnt different aspects of dental surgery including orthodontics, prosthodontics, conservative dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery. She has worked both in outdoor and indoor department of the hospital including departments of general medicine, surgery, emergency and casualty department, ENT and orthopaedics, during internship. In the one year of this course she has gone through various field visits in different settings of Bangladesh. She has been to Dinazpur to analyse the BRAC HNP program in the project management learning course. In various assignment she have analysed secondary data from DGHS. Currently, Faria is doing her thesis on Quality of life of breast cancer of female patients in tertiary hospital of Bangladesh.
