He is a Project coordinator/Biostatistician at Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, Chennai. He is a Public health researcher with primary interests in understanding Non-communicable diseases and its associated risk factors of various ethnic, social and cultural origins. He has completed his undergraduate education in Dentistry from the Tamil Nadu M.G.R Medical University and completed his Masters in Public Health with a specialization in Biostatistics, from SRM University, India.
Dr.Kamalesh is well versed in performing invariant statistical analysis with statistical software like SPSS, SAS, and R. He has notable statistical contributions and publications in multiple NCD research studies. He has handled several national-level projects related to National Health insurance and health system efficiency and was previously involved in state-level administration of National health programs.
